Story Time

I run this joint, I decide when this topic goes up :3

Boss post first. I believe we're in Lincoln Junkyard, 2009. I'll give you a full briefing via PM on GTM :3

The year 2009.

As far back as can be remembered, the story began in a scrapyard, somewhere in Lincolnshire. Within this scrapyard, a mysterious spacecraft was beginning to take on a completed state, having been initially created within this place since some time ago.

Putting the last touches on the construction of this strange vessel was a man- a young man of no older than sixteen years. Having grown bored of his quiet life, he set out to explore the universe, creating the spacecraft for this purpose.

This young man's name was Alex...and little did he know what lay ahead for him.

Shifting a piece of the scrap metal which seemed to be conveniently plentiful in this scrapyard, the tall, white-haired man proceeded towards the nearly completed ship, before climbing up a rather flimsy-looking ladder with no effort whatsoever and sliding the piece into place on the top of the ship, finishing the shell. He then slid gracefully down the ladder and landed neatly next to Alex.

'That's the shell, the power and the interfaces complete, Alex,' he said, 'That just leaves the name. Got any ideas?'

Suzaku surveyed the area, and located more scraps of the unusual metal scattered around the junkyard. He made a note to collect every piece of it and load it onto the ship.

"No idea just yet, Suzaku" Alex commented, glancing at the side of the newly-built ship. "But I'll think of something.
After all, if the Royal Navy can think of such cool names for their ships, I don't see why I won't be able to"
He then glanced up at the ladder.
"I might have a quick look around inside, too. Maybe the answer will come to me then"

'Sure thing,' Suzaku replied, 'You wouldn't mind if I went and loaded some of the spare metal on, wopuld you?'

Not waiting for an answer, Suzaku slipped off to collect the extra metal, leaving Alex to explore by himself.

"Yep" GF commented back to him. "There's plenty of space in the hold"
With that, GF climbed the ladder into the Starboard side of the ship, through a space that would later be converted into an airlock. At this time, the ship was furnished simply but comfortably, with a stolen gravity neutraliser device which would be active during spaceflight, in order to simulate Earth's gravitational pull.
"Looking good so far" Alex thought to himself as he strolled through.

As Alex explored, he couldn't help but feel that he was being watched, though there was no one around.

After exploring the ship, GF climbed up to the main Bridge. It took him a little while, but eventually he made it. As he stood at the ship's control panel, he looked out of the windows surrounding it- the view of the entire ship stretched out before him, as did the surroundings of the scrapyard, and the secluded countryside around him.

The view was clear here, and the feeling of being watched was no longer there.

Down below where Alex was, Suzaku was collecting up sheets of metal and lifting them as if they were made of nothing.

A tall, muscular man clad in red emerges atop the scrapyard's fence. He jumps down and lands in a combat roll between two piles of random metals. He looks around, dusting himself off and heads toward the ship.

Suzaku stops Vladimir with a wave.

'Mind helping me shift this metal into the Cargo Bay?' he asked, gesturing the a huge pile of the unusual metal piled high next to him, 'There's loads of it.'

"Da, comrade," Vladimir says and runs over to help. He picks up a couple of the larger pieces and takes them to the ship.

Suzaku thanked Vladimir and continued shifting the metal.

Vladimir walks past Alex on his way to get another load.

"Hey there Vladmir" Alex commented as he made his way back down to check on progress. "So what do you think of it so far?"

The feeling was definitely returning the deeper Alex went into the ship.

Outside, Suzaku located an old and faded rather ornate ballroom mask, red and black with gold patterns decorating it. It was worn with age and tattered and torn.

'Interesting,' he said to himself, 'It's over 2000 years old. I wonder who it belonged to...'

Chaos

I ignore the group I would have normally opened conversation with. There was a single thing on my mind, a rumor of a 'strange light' being visible under a pile of rubble. Besides, they seemed to be doing well on their own, and they seemed to be more distant from me than ever. From what I can tell, there's no point in talking, they would've opened interactions by now if they were going to.

I stand in front of a large pile of scrap metal, something was drawing me there. Perhaps it was the fact that it was the largest pile in the junkyard, or maybe it was something else, but either way, I began shifting the metal passively. Eventually, I feel something different to the jagged metal. I begin to pull at it. Yanking violently at the unknown object, it eventually breaks free. I fall backwards and wait for my head to collide with the ground. I continue to wait for the impact, but it never comes, instead I am enveloped by a white light, and begin to drift through what appears to be a tunnel of light. I suppose at least I'm going away from there, I seem to have outstayed my welcome anyway...

"Looks good," Vladimir replies and goes to get more of the metal.

GF felt the feeling of being watched even more as he advanced into the engine shaft in the bottom of the ship. From inside, he took a look at the mighty engines of the ship, custom-built to provide immense power for the ship.

Looking at the engines gave Alex the feeling that he was looking at the heart of a living thing - it was truly a powerful feeling.

GF continued through the engine chamber, he walked onto one of the catwalks overlooking the ship's immense reactor core. He proceeded to look down into the core, which shone with an electric blue light, which eminated from the huge machinery surrounding it.

The Reactor Core seemed full of life, and gave Alex the feeling that he was walking around the inside of a living thing.

Before long, Alex had reached the other end of the chamber. Before he left however, he figured he'd test the power capabilities of the machinery around him, so he booted up the engine network, and examined what it was capable of in terms of powering on.

As the engines burst into life, a tall male materialised a few metres behind Alex. His blood red hair trailed a long way across the floor and he wore no shirt, his huge, rippling muscles out for all to see, his copper skin littered with unusually colored scars. His dark crimson eyes scanned the area before noticing Alex. Something seemed to click in the man's brain and he took a single step forward.

And fell to the ground with a loud thud.

Alex turned around in surprise, and spotted the mysterious man lying on the floor. With that, Alex walked over to him.
"Who are you?" Alex asked, wondering who the individual could be. "Are you alright?"
